An Ofsted spokesperson commented that if wearing a veil is interference with education then action needs to be taken both against teachers and students. This started after Prime Minister Cameron and UK education secretary Nicky Morgan said that individual public organizations should be free to put in place their own rules on uniforms and the issue of veils As per Cameron, he will support an institution if you are coming in contact with a person and are able to see his/her face anywhere. Michael supported Prime Minister and Secretary of State's decision to support institutions which insist on removal of face coverings. Michael was worried that some principals who were trying to restrict wearing of full veil are under pressure to relax their policy. He said that there is no discrimination on any grounds on his part. He further added that he has instructed to his inspectors that they should consider those leaders who are condoning the wearing of the face veil by staff members or by pupils by stating that institution as inadequate.
