The e-Admit card by UPSC has been released for the Engineering Services Examination (Prelims) 2017. The exam is slated to happen on January 8, 2017 to obtain 440 suitable candidates and to fill vacant posts in various engineering disciplines. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the e-admit card forthe Engineering Services Examination (Prelims) 2017. The cards are available to be downloaded by all registered candidates from the official website www.upsc.gov.in of the UPSC.
Following categories are available for recruitment, based on a candidate’s exam performance:
·Category 1 - Civil Engineering
·Category 2 - Mechanical Engineering
·Category 3- Electrical Engineering
·Category 4- Electronics &Telecommunication Engineering
How to download e-Admit card from the website
- Login in the website with your registered user id ( on the website www.upsc.gov.in)
- Select the menu ‘What’s new’ and choose ‘e-Admit card-Engineering Service Examination 2017’
- Click on the ‘download admit card’ link
- Enter your registration number, date of birth and the given image code
·Click on Submit button
·The admit card will be displayed on the screen
·Download the card, save it and take the printout.
The admit card displays all information pertinent to the examination, candidate and exam location. The e–Admit card is necessary for the candidates to attend the examination, without which the person will not be allowed to attend the examination.
The plan of examination is as follows:
Stage-I:Engineering Services (Preliminary)
Examination (Objective Type Papers) for the selection of candidates for the Stage-II
Stage-II:Engineering Services (Mains/Stage-II)
Examination (Conventional Type Papers)
Stage-III:Personality Test
