An official spokesperson said that Basic Training Certificate (BTC) exams have been rescheduled from November 1 to November 3. Earlier, the exams were cancelled due to alleged reports of the paper leak in Kaushambi.

The spokesperson said that while the new dates for the BTC exam have been decided, the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) exam 2018 has been rescheduled to November 18. Result for both the exams will be declared by December 10, 2018 and online registration for the TET exam will commence from December 11, 2018.

He further added that the exam for the Teachers Bharti Pariksha has been scheduled for January 6, 2019. The decision regarding the same was taken at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with senior officials of the Education Department.

The Spokesperson also told that CM has ordered STF and the police department to take strict action against those who are involved in the BTC exam leak. Actions like arresting, forfeiting property and imposing NSA, if required, should be taken against the person/s involved in the paper leak, said CM.
