UGC NET 2017 Examination was conducted by CBSE on 22nd Jan’2017 across the country.

There were 3 papers in total.

Paper 1: Paper 1 had 60 questions and the total marks for the same were 100. The total duration for the Paper 1 was 1 and half hours.

Paper 2: This paper also was of 100 marks and there were 50 questions in total.

Paper 3: This was the longest of all. It carried total of 150 marks and had 75 questions to be answered.

Priyal who has done MA from Rajasthan University, has appeared for the examination. When asked about the question paper she said “The exam would have been very easy for those who have been preparing for it. Since there was no negative marking I attempted all the questions and hoping for a positive result now”.

The answer Key would be soon published on the website. The candidates should keep a check on the website.

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) now conducts NET on the behalf of UGC for the post of Lecturer and for providing JRF for Indian Nationals. The exam is conducted in the streams such as Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Commerce.
