Students to gear up
as the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) announced on
Monday that The Intermediate Public Examinations-2016 will be held from March 2
to March 21 next year.
It is expected that around 10 lakh will appear for the exams. The time table is as follows- the practical exams are scheduled to be held from February 3 to 24 across the state. All the theory papers will be held from 9 am to 12 pm, whereas the practical exams will be held from 10 am to 1 pm.
On January 28, The ethics and human values examination will be conducted and environment education is scheduled to be on January 30.
The dates for Intermediate vocational courses are also the same, as per TSBIE officials, however, time table to be issued separately.
Time table states that students of first year will appear for second language paper on March 2 and the second-year students on March 3. Same goes for English as its paper will be conducted on March 4 and 5 for first and second year. Examination for part-III subjects such as mathematics, botany, civics, psychology, history, chemistry, sociology, geology, commerce among many others will be held from March 8.
Due to college fear of syllabus not being able to complete on time, the board has delayed the release of time table by almost a month. A representative of junior college said that in rural areas, syllabus will take time due to delay in academic year and more government holidays this year.
The delay will increase the stress of board adding to the burden as it had prepared dozen sets of question papers, identified examination centers, dispatched question papers to centers and arranged evaluators and invigilators in short time.
