Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced the assessment scheme which it will use to promote the students of classes 9 and 11. The board has decided to provide one-time relaxation to the students because of coronavirus breakout.
Promotion of students of class 9 and 11 will be done on the basis of their performance in three unit tests, half-yearly examination, co-curricular activities, and all-round performance of the student during the academic year.
Following is the allocation scheme of the Rajasthan government
- 50% weight will be given to half-yearly exams
- 20% weight will be given to three-unit tests
- 30% weight will be given to co-curricular activities and class performance
Students currently in classes 9th and 11th will be promoted to the classes 10th and 12th respectively following the above-mentioned method. Result certificates will be issued once the lockdown period is over.
Students who will be promoted to the next class will be able to access the study material through the Social Media Interface for Learning Engagement (SMILE). Students will be taught online and will be given assignments through digital platforms.
