St Stephen's released its first cut-off for DU admissions 2017

The first cut-off list for giving admissions in the UG courses has been released by the St. Stephen's college. St. Stephen is one of the most reputed college of the Delhi University which conducts separate application and selection process and cut off lists are published in each round.

The application process

For UG courses the application process ended on Monday and according to the press release of the St. Stephen College 24,168 applications were received this year. The cut-off lists according to the per subject basis are available on the website of the college and the list of the candidates selected for the aptitude test and interview will be released on June 15. Interviews for the same will commence from June 17. The schedule for the interview is already available on the official website of the college.

  • Humanities: 95 per cent
  • Science: 96.5 per cent

Economics

  • Commerce: 98.5 per cent
  • Humanities: 97.5 per cent

  • Humanities: 96 per cent
  • Science: 97 per cent

History

  • Commerce: 97.75 per cent
  • Humanities: 96 per cent

Philosophy

  • Commerce: 97 per cent

Sanskrit

  • Commerce: 70 per cent

Physics: 96.66 per cent

According to the reports from NDTV, last year, total number of applications received by the St. Stephen College was around 23,500 against 400 seats and the college remains one of the DU colleges with highest cut-offs.
