Results of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of the Combine Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2015 Paper 1 were declared on the official portal on Friday, July 29, 2016. 

The Staff Selection Commission was officially active with effect from September 4, 1977 to conduct recruitment exams for various government Departments and Subordinate Offices. The SSC is responsible for conducting Class "“ III (Group "“ C) examinations for non-technical posts in these offices.

The SSC had released a notification for 6,000 vacancies in July 2015 for Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant (3,523 posts), Lower Divisional Clerk (2,049 posts) and Data Entry Operator (1,006 posts). The recruitment examination has a written test. Once candidates pass the written prelims and mains examinations, they will be called for a skill test and an interview round. The written examination will be followed by a skill test and an interview round before the candidates are recruited. 

According to the statistics, as many as 20 lakh candidates took the exam in 2015. The CHSL exam was conducted on November 1, 15, 22, and December 6, 2015, at various examination centers across the country. Candidates who qualify the test will be recommended for appointment by the SSC. This will be on the basis of their performance in the written examination.

"¢Your result will be declared along with your roll number on the website in a PDF format.


"¢Download the result and save a copy for future reference.
