According to the statement from the DTU University, a team of students from Delhi Technological University (DTU) has built a software which will help the disabled persons in operating the computers and they will be able to do so with the blink of their eyes or with the movements of their heads.

The name of the software is 'Sysbot' and is built by a team of four members for the competition named 'Hackathon' organized by Women in Engineering of IEEE at DTU.

Among the competitors, the software won the first prize. In the competition 50 teams had participated including the teams from IP University and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.

“The software allows one to click the mouse with the blink of an eye and to move the cursor with the movement of the head. It's an utility software we have designed to help the disabled people as per the theme of the contest,” said Mayank Tripathi, a member of the winning team and second-year Information Technology student.

He further added that software is not fully functional yet and may need 10 to 15 days of work before it is fully functional.

The contest was announced on October 27 and contestants were given 24 hours to build a tool which can aid the disabled person. The results of the competition were announced on October 28.
