Failure in studies and career is one of the foremost causes of depression and stress among the youngsters in today's time. To inspire them, Smriti Irani met some of them at IIM Rohtak. On Saturday, Union HRD minister Smriti Irani motivated students to not to be deterred by failures instead to move ahead. She said this while delivering the fifth convocation address of Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak.
She asked students to take a leaf from American information technology entrepreneur and inventor Steve Job's life. Job's life was an inspiration to take up the entrepreneurial route to corporate life, she said.
She asked students to focus their management skills and knowledge to work for economic upliftment of the nation, especially India being an agrarian sector. She also congratulated the graduating students and said that they must have a vision forward. She presented gold medal to students Mayank Garg, for scholastic achievement and Sejal Agarwal for all round performance.
Besides her, others attending the convocation included, Atanu Rakshit, Director, IIM Rohtak, Chairman and other members of the Board of Governors of IIM Rohtak Society.
