A seminar on CLAT was conducted by Fourth Dimension Bhopal at their premises. The prominent speakers were Dr. Raka Arya , Eminent faculty at NLIU & Mr. Anurag Shrivastava , Juris Consultus, Bhopal. Many Aspirants of CLAT and future Lawyers attended the seminar with full determination and cleared many of their doubts. The topics for the discussion were how to prepare for CLAT and a promising career ahead in the law.
Dr. Raka Arya explained the process of getting into law and given some tips over preparing for CLAT. She says, "Hard Determination is needed for the preparation of CLAT. Firstly one should regularly look at the previous year papers. They provide a great help and also gives a way on which areas to focus on. While preparing for CLAT time management is a must and a good grasp on vocabulary furnishes a level of confidence. Legal GK is one of the toughest parts. For this, go through some good law cases and try to think logically over the court decisions."
Ms. Shalini Manoj, Director, Fourth Dimension showed gratitude towards the guests and presented thanks for giving their valuable time and sharing such valuable information with the participants. Mr. Anurag Shrivastava provided the aspirants with some important guidelines and gives a brief of the ways ahead in this field, "Lawyers can find employment opportunities in public and private sector organizations. Most Lawyers prefer to become an advocate and practice law as a profession. For that they have to enroll with the Local/State/Central Bar Council. Moreover Lawyer can also work as legal counsel and legal advisers for firms, organizations and families. They also can be appointed as Company Secretaries in various firms. One more option is to work with work with legal consultancy firms dealing with tax, excise, patent, labour and environmental laws. Trustees of various trusts, law reporters in media industries etc are some less known opportunities available with this field."
