SBI Clerks prelims conducted onMay 11, 2016, were held online for an hour's duration. It was inclusive of three sections, namely, English language, Quantitative aptitude and Reasoning ability. Candidates qualifying each of the three sections will have to secure passing marks as decided by the bank.
Candidates will be shortlisted after their performance is gauged in the three rounds, namely, the preliminary examination, the main examination and the interview. They will be appointed for the posts of junior associates as well as junior agricultural associates in the clerical cadre.
The results will be declared by the State Bank of India, soon, on their official website that is sbi.co.in
In order to obtain the result, candidates need to login to the official website, click on the link, "SBI Clerk Prelims Results", fill in the required entries and submit them. The result, after declaration and on fulfilment of above mentioned procedure, will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are suggested to take a print out of the result for future reference.
The main examination has been scheduled to be held on June 17, 2016, which would comprise of General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude. It will weigh a total of 200 marks. Candidates will have to pay one fourth of the marks as deduction for every incorrect answer in the objective tests.
