On 6th December 2018, Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the AICTE for the joint training program for the faculty members of the RTU and its affiliated colleges.
The main objective of the training program is to train the faculty members and prepare them better for success in the knowledge society. All the faculty members from the AICTE approved institutions affiliated with the RTU are eligible for the training sessions.
According to the MoU, each ‘AICTE-RTU joint training program’ will be a ‘five-day residential program’ with a minimum of forty participants.
Under the MoU, RTU is required to conduct 10 such training sessions in a given financial year and attendees will receive a certificate upon completion of the program after they have passed the test from the RTU in association with the AICTE.
RTU will act as a host of the training sessions and is required to have the necessary infrastructure for conducting the training including a guest house and dining hall.
The MoU is valid for a maximum of up to five years.
