An updated and revised edition of General Studies Manual Paper-1 was launched by McGraw Hill Education India on Friday.
The book was launched by the Vice Chairman of NITI (National Institute for Transforming India) Aayog, Arvind Panagariya. Home Secretary, Rajiv Mehrishi was also present for the book launch along with the authors of the book.
All the IAS aspirants prepare for the General Studies examination and paper book for such an exam is a necessity.
The Chief Guest of the event, the Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, Arvind Panagariya said that “the book would be of great help for the IAS aspirants. All the authors of the book have done great work and their contribution for revising the book is immense”. He congratulated all on the launch of the book and wished them success.
Some of the authors who have contributed in the book are: Former Reader at Khalsa College G.N.Dixit, former Dean St. Stephens College Tara Chand and Subha Parmar from the Dept. of History at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, among others.
“It was an honour to co-author the book along with the veterans and I am thrilled to be part of the journey”, said Mehrishi.
Managing Director of McGraw Hill Education India, Kaushik Bellani said “ We hope that the book proves to be important for preparing for the IAS Examinations”.
