NEET PG is a single entrance exam for shortlisting the candidates for various MD/ MS and PG Diploma courses. The exam is mandatory even for the foreign nationals who are seeking admissions in medical institutions.

The exam will be conducted by the NBE and the results will be given to Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) which will then conduct counseling of the candidates based on their marks in the exam.

The exam will be conducted in a computer-based format and NBE will release a demo test for the candidates so that they can familiarize themselves with the test format. The demo test will be available on December 20, 2020, onward.

Seven days before the exam, NBE would intimate candidates about their test centers. "Request shall not be entertained for change of examination center or city. Candidates are advised not to canvass for or submit such representations," said the exam conducting body in the official exam notice.

The last date to apply for the exam November 21, 2020.
