The application process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2018 will begin from January 1 and the exam is scheduled to be held on May 13. CLAT is a national level exam, which is used to determine the eligibility of the candidates for admission into Integrated LLB and LLM courses offered by the 19 National Law Universities of India.
In 2017, the exam was conducted by the Chanakya National Law University, Patna. The official website for the CLAT-- clat.ac.in is not live but will begin functioning from January.
The last date to submit the application form is March 31, 2018.

Education qualification
UG Program
Candidates must have passed class 12 or its equivalent from recognized board
Students appearing for their board exam are also eligible for the exam
Candidate must have scored minimum 45 percent marks (40 percent in case of SC and ST candidates)
PG Program
Candidate must have completed five-year integrated LLB program or its equivalent degree from a recognized university
Candidate must have scored minimum 55 percent marks
For SC and ST candidates minimum marks are 50 percent

For general, OBC, specially-abled persons and other categories: INR 4000
For SC and ST categories: INR 3500
