After declaring the results of the JEE Mains 2018 exam, registration portal for the JEE Advanced 2018 exam is open for the qualified candidates. This year, more than 2.3 lakh candidates have qualified for the JEE Advanced exam the results of which were declared on Monday.
Candidates who have qualified for the exam and are interested in appearing for the Advanced exam can register themselves on the official website-- jeeadv.ac.in.
This year’s advance exam is conducted by the IIT Kanpur.
Qualified candidates will be eligible for the admissions in the various IITs across the nation for bachelor’s, integrated master’s and dual degree Programs.
Steps to register for the exam
- Visit the official website as mentioned above
- Log in using the roll number from the JEE Mains 2018 exam
- Check the details
- Fill in the required field
- Upload the scanned copies of the following: Class 10th or Birth Certificate, Class 12th (or equivalent) Certificate, Category Certificate, an additional category Certificate (Optional), PwD Certificate, Scribe request letter, DS Certificate, OCI Card / PIO Card
- Pay the registration fee, which is INR 2600 for the general category, 1300 for the SC, ST, PwD Candidates and all female candidates
- After the payment, candidates will be able to download the “Registration Details”
Candidates are advised to be careful when submitting the details as they will not be allowed to make any changes once they submit the form.
