In Telangna on spot admissions on spot admissions for engineering and pharmacy courses will began from August 6 in order to fill the vacant positions.
Once the final phase of TSEAMCET 2016 is done then the vacancies will be available under the private un-aided engineering colleges.
The Director of Technical Education, M. V. Reddy said the vacancies have to be first filled with the internal sliding candidates only on August 6 and Colleges have to give a notification for spot admissions on August 8 for the remaining vacancies.
Vacancies will be first filled with those students who qualify the TSEAMCET-2016 exam and if still seats are left empty then the students who have qualified equivalent or intermediate exams of the same will can be considered.
Mr. Reddy said that "candidates without original certificates will not be permitted for spot admissions. Fee Reimbursement is also not applicable to the candidates admitted under internal sliding or spot admissions. Candidate belonging to other states and completed education in other states, and whose parents belong to other state and residing there only are not eligible for admission. They cannot be considered as non-local students. Such admissions will not be ratified".
He also said "candidates admitted during spot admissions have to be informed that their admissions are subject to ratification. If admissions are not ratified they would have to quit the college".
