Notification for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I), 2020 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)/ As mentioned in the notification, the last date to apply for the UPSC CDS Exam (I) 2020 is November 19, 2019 till 6:00 pm.

Candidates who are interested in applying for the exam must have completed their graduation from the recognized institute or university. CDS examination is held to select the candidates for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, and Officers' Training Academy, Chennai.

After the application process is over, candidates will have the facility to withdraw their applications from the exam. The window to withdraw the exam application from November 26 to December 3, 2019.

For admission to I.M.A. and Officers' Training Academy, Chennai, applicants need a degree from a recognized University or equivalent. For Indian Naval Academy, the applicant must have a degree in engineering from a recognized university or institution. For admission to Air Force Academy, the candidate must have an engineering degree must have studied physics and math at up to class 12 level.

For more information on qualification and eligibility criteria, candidates must refer to the official advertisement. UPSC will conduct a written examination followed by an Interview for intelligence and personality test for shortlisted candidates.
