No special classes in Winter Holidays for students in Grades 1 through 8

Schools in Tamil Nadu have declared winter holidays until January 2 and all schools will reopen on January 3, 2020

K.A. Sengottaiyan, the Minister of School Education Tamil Nadu has requested primary and district education officials to not hold any special classes in winter holidays.

In a tweet, the state education minister said that nursery and matric schools are advised to not hold any special classes for the students studying in grades 1 through 8 as it can be stressful for the students to attend schools during the holidays.



Schools in Tamil Nadu have declared winter holidays until January 2 and all schools will reopen on January 3, 2020. Meanwhile, schools in Haryana have also declared holiday on December 26 because of cold waves. According to the weather reports, cold waves will stay in the region and chances are that temperature might drop further in the coming days.
