The calendar was released today by the Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' in New Delhi.
The calendar has a week wise plan which contains challenging activities based on chapters taken from syllabus or textbook. Activities map themes of the chapters with the outcome of the activities which will help parents/teachers to assess the learning of the children.
“This calendar provides guidelines to teachers on the use of various technological tools and social media tools available for imparting education in fun-filled, interesting ways, which can be used by learners, parents and teachers even while at home. However, it has accounted for the varying levels of access to such tools-Mobile, Radio, Television, SMS and various social media,” said the HRD Minister.
