NCERT has issued guidelines for the play schools under which the children enrolled in these will be assessed on the basis of their sharing, caring and behavioral habits instead of marks.

Teachers in the schools will keep an eye on the sharing and caring habits of the children along with how he/she makes use of the study material he/she has. Another thing which teachers will keep an eye on the behavior of the child with other children which will include:

  • Whether the child is friendly with other children?
  • Does he fight with the other children?
Based on the observation of these habits, the child’s assessment will be done and the report card will be prepared by the teacher.
