Sanmeet and Neelesh students of Navodaya Vidyalaya on Monday emerged as a winner in the city round of the annual national level CCC Cryptic Crossword Contest 2017. The contest was held in the city of Chandigarh.
The venue for the contest was Paragon Convent School in Sector 24-B and prizes for the contest were distributed by the Vice-principal Parv Sandhu Makka.
The winner team of the contest will now participate in the year-end grand finale at New Delhi. Chances are that runner-up team may also get a wild card entry in the contest.
The winners of the contest will lift the National Crossword Champion trophy.
The contest is conducted by the civil society based in Patna, in association with Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and Doordarshan.
