IILM’s 7th Founder's Day Lecture was delivered by Mrs. Naina Lal Kidwai, Country Head India, Director Asia Pacific Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corp Ltd, and Past President, Federation of India Chambers of Commerce & Industry on 31st January at IILM Lodhi Road campus.
IILM has been offering management programmes for over two decades and has successfully helped build careers of over 7000 students. Established in 1993, IILM Institute for Higher Education has now three campuses in NCR Delhi. IILM campuses are located at Lodhi Road New Delhi, Golf Course Road Gurgaon, and Knowledge Park Greater Noida.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Mrs. Malvika Rai, Chairperson IILM & President FICCI Ladies Organization & Mrs. Naina Lal Kidwai.
Ms Sapna Popli, Director IILM shared the journey of IILM since its inception with highlight of its landmark achievement which has been made. Ms Popli shared last year highlight of IILM being signatory to Principle in Responsible Management Education a United Nations initiative.


The event was graced by the auspicious hands of our Chief Guest, Mrs. Naina Lal Kidwai, The first Indian woman to have graduated from Harvard Business School, She is also a member of the prestigious Prime Minister’s Trade and Industry Council as well as of the National Manufacturing Council.

 thanked IILM for the invite and shared her great experience of working with Mrs. Malvika Rai - President FICCI Ladies Organization. In her lecture she talked about the current challenges faced by the Indian economy. It highlighted the policy and system level challenges which inhibit growth at a higher rate than the current scenario. Identifying the key economic challenges in the area of current account deficit, infrastructure, inflation, need for green revolution, law enforcement, energy, allocatio
n of natural resources and transparency she suggested development. Mrs. Kidwai left students with the advice to have continuous learning throughout their career to achieve great heights.

Over the two decades IILM has been ranked consistently as one of the top MBA colleges in Delhi. IILM has been accredited by The South Asia Quality Improvement System (SAQS) and has been inducted into the United Nation’s PRME initiative as the global champion for the Principles of Responsive Management Education (PRME).
