Mumbai University has released the cut-off list for some of its colleges. In Mithabai college, the cut-off for the BA program is 95.24 percent. The Poddar

College, Matunga is demanding 94 percent cut-off for the B.COM (Hons) course. For various arts and science courses, the cut-offs stand at 86.31% and 89.80%.

Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College, Matunga keeps its first cut-off at 91.8 percent for the BA program. For science and commerce streams, the cut-offs are 90%, 90.75% respectively. Ketʼs V.G.Vaze College finalized its first cut-offs for the BA, BSc, BCom programs at 84.15%, 81.08%, 87.08% respectively. At Hinduja college, the cut-off for Arts, Science and Commerce are 82.77%, 87.4% and 81.85% respectively.

FYJC admissions

Maharashtra Government has also released the admission schedule for the  first-year junior colleges (FYJC) and the first allotment list will be declared on July 5.

Also, the admission process for the Mumbai, Pune, Amravati, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad centers will be done in online mode only.

“Earlier, it was only Mumbai and Pune region that were online and data from these two regions were on the servers. But now since there are so many centers, the quantum of data has increased as the number of students has increased. Handling this data is difficult and is taking time,” said the official.
