The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was held in 988 centers in 100 cities with the registration of 7.4 lakh candidates.

The exam was highly erroneous this year.

In the exam held in Delhi region about 10 OMR sheets have been misplaced. Also the serial numbers of some of the OMR Sheets did not match those of the question paper.

In the Marathi paper the set 'D' had an incomplete reading passage.

Admitting the error in the Marathi language paper and terming it a printing error the Board promised a suitable compensation will be given to the students. In the reading passage of over 300 words the candidates had to answer nine questions.

But the set 'D' had only 60 words of the passage making it confusing for the students. The Board informed that immediate action was take on the date of the examination that was February 22,2015.Also the students who attempted the set 'D' will be given suitable compensation.

But nothing was said about the Missing OMR Sheets. Also some students reported that the serial numbers provided in the OMR sheet did not harmonize with the question paper. It faltered many students as if the matter is not looked upon it can jeopardize the result. The issue has been acknowledged to the CBSE.

The answer keys which were ready with the question papers before are were also not available e this time.Reverting back on the issue the Board said that answer keys are developed only after the examination is over and it is a top secret operation.

However a senior CBSE Official told that preparing the answer keys gave in the secrecy. With it the setters of the questions came to know that their questions were selected. Some of the answers in the examination are subjective and hence it raises various questions.

The Board emphasized that no procedure has been left out and the verification and compilation of the answer key has been uploaded on March 19.This is done by the subject experts in a confidential room.
