CBSE conducted the NEET 2017 exam on May 7 and declared the results for the same on June 23. All the candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official website of the NEET exam which is cbseneet.nic.in.
After the declaration of the results, an all India merit list has been prepared by the CBSE in percentile, which is determined on the basis of highest marks secured by the candidates in the NEET 2017 exam.
This year, the all India topper is from the Punjab State. Punjab's Navdeep Singh secured the AIR rank 1 as he scored a total of 697 marks in the male category and in the female category Nikita Goyal is the topper.

Availability of seats
According to the information provided by the MCI and DCI on their website, there are total 470 medical colleges in which there are approximately 65170 seats of MBBS and in 308 dental colleges, there are 25730 seats are available. For the purpose of giving admissions to the candidates, the admitting authorities will draw merit lists based on the AIR under their jurisdiction.
