Meet first three toppers of the JEE Advanced 2017 exams

The result of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2017 was declared on Sunday and Sarvesh Mehtani from Chandigarh (Panchkula) has obtained the All India Rank (AIR) 1

The results for the JEE Advanced 2017 were declared by the board on Sunday and Sarvesh Mehtani from Chandigarh (Panchkula) secured the AIR (All India Rank) 1, followed by Pune's Akshat Chug and Delhi's Ananya Agarwal, which secured second and third AIR respectively.

Out of 366 marks, Sarvesh secured 339 marks as follows:

Math: 120
Physics: 104
Chemistry: 115

Sarvesh's rank was 55 when he results for the JEE Mains exams were declared and now, after securing the Top rank in the nation he dreams of going IIT-Bombay in order to pursue undergraduate degree in computer science.

All the candidates who had appeared for the exam are required to check their marks and ranks on the official website of the Jee Advanced which is www.jeeadv.ac.in.

Second rank holder

Aksaht Chug from Pune secured the AIR second and his rank was 7th in the JEE Main exams 2017.

Eastern Zone topper

According to the reports from HT, Kolkata's Debaditya Pramanik from Birla High School secured the first position from the zone and has All India Rank 38. He also secured the top rank in the WBJEE 2017 exam and was a state topper in the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) class 12 examination.
