He said this while addressing a gathering at Ravidas Kumbh, on the birth anniversary of Saint Ravidas, on Monday. The government is ready to pay their tuition fees in the colleges, which includes all the government engineering as well as medical colleges.

He further added that government would provide foreign study assistance to 50 SC and ST students, increasing the number from 10.

Not only above, state government would provide new bicycles to SC girl students, who are securing admission in class 11. This will promote education.

Another scheme will provide a 30 per cent subsidy; to a maximum of three lakhs will be provided to dalits for setting up industries.

Parents of meritorious students were asked by CM to promote higher education of their children.
