MBBS exam for Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry (JIPMER) is tentatively scheduled to be held on June 3, 2018.

The entrance exam is conducted by the institute on annual basis to fill the 200 undergraduate seats at the JIPMER Puducherry and JIPMER Karaikal.

Eligibility
Candidate appearing in JIMPER MBBS 2018 should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with biology/ biotechnology, physics, chemistry, including practical classes) and with English as the elective subject.
Students belonging to general category need minimum 50% marks to sit in the UG exam while the candidates belonging to reserved category and physically challenged category need 40 % and 45 % respectively.
Age: Candidate must not be less than 17 years of the age at the time of admission.
JIMPER and AIIMS conduct their own entrance exams and are therefore exempted from the NEET entrance test.
