Referring to the recent board examination scam in Bihar, Jharkhand's Chief Minister Raghubar Das has invited the students of the neighbor state to study in the state.

Das criticized the current education system and also Bihar's failure in checking corruption in various departments. In his press meet, he expressed deep concern with regard to the future of meritorious students of Bihar, who will have to face harsh consequences for the vulnerable future of these young guns. Many of these students have often fallen prey to corruption in the education system of the state.

"Economic prosperity depends on upon the talent pool and Jharkhand has been successful in the bagging attention of the center in getting the nod for institutions of higher education," he said, citing the example of IIT, Dhanbad, Central University, Defense University, IIM, and others. Criticizing politicians of Bihar for focusing on anti-alcohol campaign in Jharkhand, Das opposed by saying that they should first bring their own house in order. "Bihar is known for corruption in the education department as people across the country would remember the photographs in which the examination standard of matriculation was exposed, but now the topper scam which has left everyone ashamed," Das said inviting the students to pursue further studies in the state. "I invite the parents to come to Jharkhand with their wards where Netarhat Vidyalaya, Sainik School Tilaiya and Navodaya Vidyalaya are producing some of the best brains in the country," he added.

Das told the media that a state's merit is determined by the quality of education, talent and potential of the youth and other achievements by the state and Jharkhand has never failed to prove its merit every time.
