Joint Admission Test for MSc. Courses for the year 2020 will be conducted under the aegis of IIT Kanpur. The exam is also used to shortlist the candidates for admissions to Integrated Ph.D. Degree Programs at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru.
The exam is scheduled for February 9, 2020.
Online registration for the same will commence from September 5. To apply for the exam, candidates will be required to fill the application form by visiting the official website of the exam, The last date to register for the exam is October 8.
From this year on, the exam will be held in Biotechnology, Mathematical Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Geology and Mathematics and the exam for the Biological Science paper will be discontinued.
Based on the scores obtained by the candidates they will be eligible for the admission in Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.- Ph.D. Dual Degree, M.Sc.- M.Tech programs at IIT (Bhilai, Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, ISM Dhanbad, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Mandi, Palakkad, Patna, Roorkee, Ropar, Tirupati and BHU Varanasi) along with integrated PhD at IISc Bengaluru.
