The nuclear power reactors to be set up are planned to be funded by a mix of debt and equity. The equity requirements are planned to be met from indigenous sources comprising of investments by Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) and its Joint Venture partners and budgetary support.
There is no proposal to allow Foreign Direct Investment in atomic power sector.
