Hughes Communication India Limited has launched 4th Batch of EXECUTIVE PROGRAM IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS (EPIB) in collaboration with Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, after successful completion of three batches.

The one year program will start from June 2012 and will bring together IIM -C's reputed faculty along with IIMC to help students across India with course content specific to International business management to help create a successful professional tailor-made for the Indian corporate ecosystem. 

Using a pragmatic and result-oriented philosophy, IIM-C professors will employ a variety of teaching methodologies that will include formal lectures, case studies, team and individual presentations, role-play and negotiations, action learning, group-discussions and workshops on specific aspects of communications and creative brief writing. Students will also get to learn and use numerous tactical/implementation modules related to Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Finance and Accounting, Multilateral Organizations and Geopolitics, Export Procedure, Documentation and EXIM Policy, Shipping and Import Management. 

Additionally, the program provides participants an opportunity to interact with industry thought leaders to get practical perspectives and tips on managing international business. Students will also get opportunities for discussions with professionals and peers from organizations facing a diverse set of management challenges. In just one year, this intensive program will aim at filling in the knowledge gaps in essential communication disciplines to facilitate the transition of functional specialists into more all-rounded generalists with a host of general marketing skills.

To keep pace with today's requirement where globalization, internet and hyper competition has dramatically re-shaped the market, there has been some key additions to the content in the program like - International Cross Management strategy, HRM Strategy, International financial Strategy & Risk Management, Forex Management strategies, International corporate finance & Global Mergers, International corporate finance & Global Mergers, Acquisition & Joint ventures, Cross Culture & Leadership strategies, Strategic brand management, Strategies for managing retail business that help the participants to compete in international Market.

The eligibility criteria for applicants includes working professionals/self-employed with more than 2 years of work experience post completion of graduation and Graduates (10+2+3) in any discipline with min. 50% marks aggregate - considering results of all years (e.g. 3 or 4 together) recognized by UGC/AICTE.
