After getting constant complaints about forged documents being submitted by schools, recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education has cancelled the affiliation of a few schools in Bangalore and Mysore.

As per reports, these schools were run by National Education Trust and allied trusts at different locations.

Name of the schools

  • National Academy for Learning, Basweshwar Nagar (Banglore)
  • National Public School branches in areas of Indira Nagar, Koramangala, Rajaji Nagar and 4th Sector HSR Layout  (Bangalore)
  • NPS International School, Vijayanagar (Mysore)

What CBSE has to say?

This action has been taken after getting complaints from Commissioner for Public Instruction, Department of Public Instruction, Government of Karnataka

As per the officials, reports stated that National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, the Minority Status Certificate submitted by the school were all forged documents.

Not only this, in order to put exemption from the provisions of the RTE Act, the management of all six schools were also indulged in fraudulent means.

Meanwhile,  all the students enrolled in class 10 and 12 are permitted to appear in All India Secondary School Examination/All India Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of the board to be held in the year 2017 and 2018.

The schools are now obtained from running classes 9 and 11 under CBSE pattern with effect from 2017-18 sessions, officials added.
