There is some good news for the MBA aspirants in India. The well known Australia bound University of Melbourne has entered a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the IIM-A (Indian Institute of Management "“ Ahmedabad).
The MoU contains provisions for faculty and student exchange between the two premier institutes. The agreement was penned down by Australia's Trade and Investment Minister, Andrew Robb during his visit to IIM-A on last Saturday. The programme was kicked off in 2012.
Robb was in India to attend the Vibrant Gujarat summit, where he was leading a huge Australian delegation of close to 450 businessmen.
The minister took a tour of the campus and spoke to a number of students. He was accompanied by Patrick Suckling, the Australian High Commissioner to India, Peter Varghese, secretary of Australian department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and other noted dignitaries.
