The Convocation Ceremony of IILM Academy of Higher Learning, College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Greater Noida, was held on Sunday, the 23rd February, 2014. Dr. R.K. Khandal, Vice Chancellor, Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, presided over the convocation ceremony and addressed the graduating students, parents, faculty and the staff.
Dr. R.K. Khandal conferred the degrees on all the graduating students and also awarded the Dr. Kulwant Rai Gold and Silver medals to the meritorious students. Deeply appreciative of the progress made by IILM Academy of Higher Learning, College of Engineering and Technology, the Honorable Vice Chancellor, congratulated the graduating students and conveyed his best wishes to them in their future endeavors. In his address, Dr. R.K. Khandal urged the awardees to understand and realize their personal “Samarthya” which means capability, power and efficiency for energizing their career to achieve their targets.
Major General (Retired), B.D. Wadhwa, Senior Director, IILM Academy of Higher Learning expressed his gratitude towards Dr. R.K. Khandal for personally conferring the degrees at the ceremony. Maj Gen BD Wadhwa mentioned that the Dept of Biotechnology of the college has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation, and students from this Department have regularly appeared in the UPTU Rank Holders Merit List.
Dr. R.K. Khandal highly appreciated the efforts put in by the students and the faculty in the area of Skill Development and Research activities. He complimented the five IILM students who have been selected by NASA to represent India at the NASA Rover Challenge 2014 in USA during April this year.
