The results for the ISC and ICSE boards will be declared two weeks earlier than the usual result date, for this academic year. The results are expected to be out on May 6 at around 3 pm.

This has been made possible because of the LICR. The council for the Indian School Certificate Examination is the first board to introduce LICR (Live Ink Character Recognition) technology developed by Orion India Systems Pvt. Ltd which has helped them in declaring the results much before the estimated date.

The results of the ICSE and ISC 2016 examinations will be made available through the CAREERS portal of the council. The website of the council is (www.cisce.org). The students can also obtain their results through the SMS services. The schools can access the results by logging into the CAREERS portal of the Council using the principals login ID and password.

To receive the results through SMS inbox services, candidate needs to type his/her unique ID in the 'new message' box, and press enter.

For example, box: ICSE/ISC 1234567. The message should be sent to the mobile number: 09248082883.
