When it comes to Engineering courses, very few colleges in India can claim to be better than IIT Kharagpur. Living up to its name, the renowned IIT has managed to attract many more internship offers this year for its students, as compared to the last year. The offers of internship position offers at the Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur IIT-KgP, have gone up by 50% this season, an announcement said on Wednesday.
"The Institute experienced year-on-year increment of 33% in the quantity of organizations going to grounds and 50% development in the quantity of offers being amplified individually," the announcement issued by IIT-Kharagpur said.
Top worldwide brands, for example, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Microsoft, Facebook, Texas Instruments and Nomura, nearby FMCG monsters ITC, Hindustan Unilever and Reckitt Benckiser, went to the grounds with the begin of the 2015-2016 temporary job season on Aug 1.
An aggregate of 72 temporary job offers were stretched out on the first day of the season itself.
With a normal increment of 100% in the quantity of pre-position offers (PPOs) from a year ago, IIT Kharagpur is anticipating predominant arrangement insights in 2015.
