Haryana government to set targets to measure students' competency

In order to achieve the grade level competency for at least 80 percent of the students, the Haryana government has set a target- an official spokesperson of Haryana government said.

Along with this, government will also provide employment opportunities to more than two lakh youths of the state in the coming two years.
Both the news was revealed during the review meeting of 'Saksham Haryana'.

'Saksham Haryana' is an initiative by the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, education minister and skill development and industrial training minister.

An official spokesman said "It was also decided in the meeting that the private companies who would engage more than five per cent apprentice would be recognized or facilitated by the government".

The recognized companies will be called 'Saksham Saathi' of the government.

Government will also provide assistance to youth in getting self-employed and for this 11 initiatives have been defined by the government for all sectors so that more than two lakh youths can get employment in coming two years.


The entire information regarding this will be made available on the Saksham Rozgar Portal', which will be launched really soon.

"All facilities of the departments concerned would be made online. The best practices of other states have been adopted. The state government would also do something new in the state so that other states can learn. New technology would be brought on pilot basis in School Education Department," he said.
