The hall tickets for the IGNOU’s upcoming entrance exams (Bachelor of Education program and MBA program) have been released by the university. Candidates who have registered for the exam can now visit the official website of the university -- ignou.ac.in -- and download the hall tickets for the exam. Both the exams will be conducted in offline mode on OMR sheets and will be objective in nature.
Steps to download the hall tickets
- Visit the official website of the IGNOU as mentioned above
- The link for the hall tickets is available on the homepage. Click on the link
- In the new window, click on the link for OPENMAT or B.Ed. Hall ticket
- On the new page, enter the details asked in the prescribed format
- Click on the submit button
- Your hall ticket will appear on the screen
- Download the hall ticket and take the print out of the same.
About IGNOU’s B.Ed. Entrance test
The B.Ed. Exam will be divided into two parts and the composite time for the exam will be hours.
Part A of the exam will have 80 questions with the breakdown as follow:
- 10 questions from General English Comprehension
- 20 questions from Logical and Analytical Reasoning
- 25 questions each from Educational and General Awareness, and Teaching-Learning and the School
Part B of the exam will have subject specific questions from the subject chosen by the candidate at the time of filling the application form. Each question will be one mark.
About IGNOU’s OPENMAT Entrance test
OPENMAT exam is conducted to offer admission into one of the six management courses offered by the university:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP)
The entrance test will be of three hours duration and will have four sections:
- General Awareness -- 30 questions
- English Language -- 50 questions
- Quantitative Aptitude section -- 50 questions
- Reasoning section -- 70 questions.
