Gujarat CET (GUJCET) 2019 dates postponed ahead of the Lok Sabha elections

After the announcement of the dates for the general elections, it is expected that the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will reschedule the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2019) to avoid a clash with the election dates. The revised schedule will be released by the Gujarat board on the official website -- gujcet.gseb.org.

Earlier, the board had rescheduled its exam which were due on March 28 and on April 4, 2019 to avoid a clash with the CBSE 2019 exams.

About GUJCET 2019

  • GUJCET is an entrance exam to shortlist the candidates for admissions in engineering, degree and diploma pharmacy courses
  • The exam is based on the third and fourth semester curriculum followed by the Gujarat board for class 12 exams
  • The exam is an MCQ type and contains questions from chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics.

The dates of the Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical and Pharmacy Courses (KEAM-2019) are also clashing with the Lok Sabha elections and the same are also expected to be re-scheduled across all the centers.
