Jamia Millia Islamia is one of the oldest and most respected study destinations in the country. And now, to take care of the tremendous demand, Jamia Millia Islamia has about multiplied the population of its of study centrees under its separation training wing from this scholastic session, for which confirmation starts Monday.
"We had got more than one lakh applications for the 6,500 seats offered through consistent mode. Seeing the enormous interest, we chose to expand the quantity of study centrees by about a twofold," bad habit chancellor Talat Ahmed said.
"In such manner, the quantity of study centrees has been expanded from 38 to 62 from the scholastic session 2015-16 to pander to the needs of students living in distinctive parts of the nation," he included.
The bad habit chancellor said the focal college is likewise considering expanding the quantity of courses offered in its Center of Distance and Open Learning from the following scholastic session.
Then, admissions to separation instruction courses for this session will start tomorrow.
"The Center for Distance and Open Learning (CDOL) will offer on-the-spot admission to qualified competitors from Monday. Confirmation can be looked for in eighteen changed scholastic projects at PG, UG, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate levels," Jamia representative Mukesh Ranjan said.
On-the-spot affirmation will be given at CDOL, JMI and in addition at other study centrees situated in Assam, Bihar, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and different states.
"A hopeful satisfying the base qualification criteria can fill in the confirmation structure, join the obliged archives and interest draft of project charges to take temporary affirmation around the same time," Ranjan included.
For Delhi/NCR centrees, affirmation will be given at the college while for outside centrees, confirmation will be given at the study centre picked by the hopeful.
