A great news for those who are preparing for the UPSC Civil
services exams especially those who cannot afford the expense of coaching- as
many civil servants have came forward to tutor and mentor students for free of
cost.
An IAS officer P Manivannan, who is also the brain behind the novel initiative said that we really want to help those who are aspiring to become top bureaucrats but cannot achieve this dream due to social and economic barriers.
According to him, the main purpose behind this initiative is to help the aspirants to crack the exam. The free caching and guidance will be provided by the serving civil servants from the IAS, IPS, IFS, and IRS etc.
The students however have to pass online entrance test (OET) to get admitted for this benefit. It will be conducted on January 16 at 6 pm and more details are available at http://civilservicesexam.guru/.
