With many students opting for higher education in India, there has been a growing demand of universities/colleges.
In order to cater to this demand, many state governments are coming up with the proposal of establishing various institutions.
Recently, during the Assembly session, Minister Sharma announced that a new university will soon be set up in Gurgaon.
Recruitment of teachers
- This year, around 20,000 teachers will be recruited in Haryana
- The recruitment would be made as part of the steps the state government was taking to improve the standard of education in Haryana, he added
- "Shlokas from the Bhagvad Gita have been incorporated in the curriculum to inculcate moral values in school students," added Sharma
These reforms have come in both in the curriculum and the state's education system
