Delhi University is going to start its admission process from the first week of Feb 2017 for foreign students who want to pursue undergraduate and graduate program in the university. The admission process was scheduled to start from January 2017, but because of some policy changes, the university has delayed its admission process by a month.
Apart from some documents which will be verified by consulates, the whole admission process, starting from the payment of the application fees to the filling of the application form will be conducted entirely online. As per the reliable sources, the admission notification will be notified on its website. In order to get an admission in the university, it is mandatory for foreign students to provide English proficiency certificate of TOEFL with a minimum score of 70 points and minimum 6 bands in IELTS. In case they are not able to provide the certificates, they have to complete a proficiency course by the education department in the initial session. Furthermore, separate prospectus regarding admission with details on colleges, facilities and courses will be issued by the university. 5 percent reservations of supernumerary seats are provided to the foreign students all across the courses in the university. Admission season for all the graduate and post graduate students will be completed by the end of March 2017.
