First seat allocation list released by Haryana Department of Education

The list of the first seat allotment has been released by the Haryana Department of Education for candidates interested in taking admission in Diploma of Education, D. Ed and D. Ed (Urdu). The courses can be opted by resident of Haryana as well as by those residing outside Haryana.

The course is of a three year long duration. During the first two years of the course, the applicants will have to take written examinations. In the third and final year, the students have to undergo an internship or gain practical experience.

The exams are conducted by the Board on the syllabus prescribed for the Diploma in education course. Students who have qualified and earned a certificate of qualification of Senior Secondary Examination are eligible to take admission in this Diploma course.

The seat allocation has been done according to the merit list declared for students of class 10+2. The distribution has been done stream wise.
Marks allocation was done as follows:

"·Science stream 30 per cent

"·Commerce 28 per cent

"·Arts 40 per cent

"·Vocational 2 per cent
