Expected cut-off for UPSC civil services prelim exam 2017

This year, the UPSC Civil Services preliminary examination 2017 cut-off for General category candidates is expected to be 116.

On June 18, UPSC successfully conducted the prelim exam for Civil Services and according to the reports most of the students find the exam difficult with GS (General Studies) section being the toughest.

UPSC, also, preponed the examination month this year. Earlier UPSC used to held the same exam in the month on August but this year they held the exam in month June.

Expected cut-off for the civil services 2017 prelim exam

According to the AK Mishra, Director of the Chanakya IAS academy, this year the cut-off for the Civil Services prelim exam will be as follows:

  • General: 116
  • OBC: 110
  • SC: 100
  • ST: 96
  • PH 1: 75
  • PH 2: 72
  • PH 3: 40

After the declaration of the prelim results the selected candidates will appear for the mains examination which is scheduled to be held on October 10.
