The IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) have long been the flag bearers of the Indian higher education scene in the country and abroad. This has further been proved by the 2016 Financial Times Executive Education Top 50 Rankings which feature IIM Bangalore as the only Indian institute.
IIM-B has occupied the 47th position in the ranking. Some of the biggest names in the world education have featured in the list including Harvard Business School, London Business School, IMD, University of Oxford and IESE.
According to Professor Shyamal Roy of the IIM-B, "IIMB's consistent ranking, year on year, in the Financial Times Rankings reflects our ability to adapt to the rapidly evolving business and economic ecosystem. It is an acknowledgment of our commitment to design and offer top-notch programmes for senior executives from industry and government,"
The institute was ranked at the 57th place in these rankings last year. "At IIMB, we focus on building leaders and work with organizations to cultivate creative leadership by designing programmes that have real impact on their business. It is a delight to be recognized and rewarded for our endeavours in Executive Education Programmes," said Professor Madan Mohan Raj of the IIM-B.
The executive education program offered by the institute aimed at training working professionals are tailor made based on the market scenario and is open for all professionals.
Some of the parameters used for this ranking include the satisfaction of the clients and the participants, international exposure of the institute, the quality of the faculty and the overall diversity of the students.
