"Role of Management education entities is knowledge creation rather than merely knowledge dissemination and Executive education programs can certainly become the fulcrum of this progression by involving executives in the learning process" was the conclusion of the Round table discussion on 'Executive education: Future Dynamics' at Asia Pacific Institute of Management (AIM), Delhi. This discussion was organized on the occasion of inauguration of exclusive MDP Centre of Asia Pacific Institute of Management- TAKSHILA. Mr. A. K. Shrivastava, Chairman, AIM; Dr. D. K. Batra, Director, AIM; Mr. R.P. Singh, CMD, Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd; Mr. T.K. Bose, GM, Indian Overseas Bank; Mr. A. Chidambaram, AGM (HR), NTPC Limited along with other more than 150 CEOs, GMs, VPs and company heads were present on this occasion.

Mr. A. K. Among the points discussed during the round table were: creating integrated global management courses, increasing the global content of courses- both functional and discipline-based, organizing immersion programs, offering global field studies and projects and establishing global research centers.

Speakers were of the opinion that in the context of the rising demand for management graduates, there is need for quality and excellence in management education. Although India produces a large number of management graduates, scholarly debate on curriculum, pedagogy, and innovation is negligible.
